Hello!

Welcome to our ASU Blog! Boston University’s Asian Student Union is officially launching our very own blog. As we enter 2021 with a future of ambiguity and seemingly endless, yet necessary distance, we wanted to devise a system of interconnectedness—a method of sharing creative expression despite the distance between all of us. 

This blog is a means of exploring various issues and subjects that are pertinent to our current climate to uplift the unheard, marginalized voices in our society. Though our digital age has allowed us to maintain communication, with our ever-changing world, important conversations come and go within days, and we tend to halt these discussions once we exit out of an app. This blog is meant to be something permanent and long-lasting, an established area where we can continuously approach topics that are addressed too intermittently and too fleetingly. 

All our communities are so diverse, and every single voice and story within our communities are valuable and need to be heard. 

What are we looking for?

Any type of creative work or expression. We will have a new theme every month that dictates what general topic we are looking for, but we really have no definitive rules when it comes to the content of this blog—we just want to highlight the creativity of members from our community, whether it is through writing, art, interviews, filmmaking, photography, poetry, or any other artistic facet that you want to contribute. 

How do I contribute?

We have a Google Form where you can submit what you want to be featured on our blog! You can also choose if you want it to be anonymous or not, and after our moderators look it through, it will be shared on our blog! The Google Form can be found here:
